Deeply active in the MicroLink adjacency. Led the Emerald AI 25 million dollar round in March 2026 (data center as a flexible grid asset). Led the ThinkLabs AI 28 million dollar Series A in March 2026 (AI for grid interconnection). Incubated and backed Elementl Power (nuclear developer, up to 1.5GW Ohio SMR project). Also Enchanted Rock (gas microgrids, NYSE EROC), Fervo Energy (geothermal, IPO May 2026), Form Energy, Powin, Arcadia and Dragos.
Urbint acquired by Itron in 2025 (about 325 million dollars). Attivo Networks to SentinelOne. Opus One to GE in 2022. Fervo Energy IPO in May 2026. Fund level IRR and DPI not public.
Equity across seed, Series A and B, growth and mid market PE. The credit group writes first and second lien term loans, unsecured and structured debt, 5 to 25 million dollar facilities to lower middle market energy companies. No evidence of a utility scale project finance vehicle.
Strong fit for the bridge equity round: data center power demand, waste heat, cooling and grid interactive load are an active EIP thesis, and the utility LP coalition (Southern Company, Duke, National Grid, Xcel, Ameren, Fortis and others) could be hosts, offtakers or validators. Poor fit for the 300MW Ohio project finance: EIP credit is small corporate debt, not utility scale project finance. Near term risk is enthusiasm without a check writer, so the goal is a Sameer Reddy introduction.
No unusual red flags. As a frequent lead: board seat, pro rata rights, information rights and customary protective provisions. Assume market standard 1x non participating preference. Specific terms not public.
